Become a local by touring downtown Pensacola while leisurely riding along the historic streets by Segway. Your experienced local tour guide will lead you through the sites and sounds of Historic Pensacola and a view of breathtaking Pensacola Bay. You will visit many historical sites and neighborhoods, learn fascinating facts about the city of five flags. Tours are ran daily and range from 1 to 2 hours. Learning Pensacola’s history will help you feel more like a local as we locals are proud of our past. Pensacola is the most fascinating city on the Emerald Coast. And locals, it’s always a great time to brush up on your history as well.
What to Expect on a Segway® Tour
Each tour includes a brief training session, which will allow you to learn the ins and outs of Segway gliding. These technologically advanced, eco-friendly machines are very intuitive and self-balancing. Learning to glide on a Segway usually takes only a few minutes! Once trained, your group will head out on the town to experience the sights and sounds of our beautiful city along Pensacola Bay!
Important Information About Segway® Tours:
Reservations are required for Segway tours and glides. Please book ahead to ensure that you are able to schedule the dates/times you desire. A credit card is required for reservations. There is a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel your tour within 72 hours Emerald Coast Tours reserves the right to charge your credit card for full price of the tour. Comfortable, athletic shoes are best for Segway riding. Please do not wear Shape Ups or other shoes with a heel.
We take groups of 6 at a time. Single gliders will be paired with another person or group. However, if you have a group larger than 6, we can accommodate more riders as combined tour of Segways and bicycles. Please call (850)417-9292 for details. Segway gliders must be between 100-260 pounds. Age range is limited to age 14 and older. Riders under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to gear up for your tour!

Historic Pensacola Segway Tour
Our most popular tour!!! Learn about the fascinating city of Pensacola while you glide effortlessly throughout downtown! You will visit numerous historical sites, landmarks, and monuments, including the Belmont-Devilliers Neighborhood, Fort George, The Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand Hotel (Former L and N Train Depot), Aragon Neighborhood, Veteran’s Memorial Park, Plaza de Luna, and the spot where Florida was officially handed over from the Spanish to the United States. You’ll learn interesting facts while experiencing the exhilaration that is Segway gliding! Learn about Pensacola history in the most fun classroom ever. Please be advised the tour route can be altered due to speed of the riders.

It Feels Good to Ride a Segway Tour!
This tour is all about PURE RIDING!!! You’ll have the opportunity to really cover some ground and get a good feel for the layout of Historic Pensacola. If you desire, your experienced tour guide will show you requested points of interest and answer all your questions regarding the best food, shopping, Pensacola nightlife, additional attractions, where to take the kids, etc. Otherwise, just enjoy a smooth glide through the historic city, enjoy the many parks, and cruise the waterfront with ease.

Wine and Glide
The It Feels Good to Ride a Segway Tour with a stop at Seville Quarter or Aragon Wine Market for a wine tasting. Every Thursday or Friday Night!!! 5:30pm – 7:00pm Length: Approximately 1 Hour of Segway Time and 1/2 hour (or more) of wine tasting.

The Segway Experience
Are you curious about riding a Segway and wish you could just try it out? See what all the fuss is about by learning how to ride one with The Segway Experience! You will receive a personal training session from one of our experienced staff members for just $10. As an added bonus, if you have a blast and definitely want to do more gliding, you will receive $5 off a tour!

Ghosts, Murders and Mayhem Segway Tour
Take a tour through Downtown Pensacola’s supernatural and dark side. Learn about the ghosts who wander at night through the old Red Light District, visit the site of hangings and murders that include a street car bombing, hear the tales of the Ghost Boy of Government Street or the bartender ghost of Seville Quarter and visit the first Drive-through funeral home in the country and hear how it’s owner met his demise. Not for those who dislike tales of the strange and macabre. Tour runs daily (or upon request when purchasing the 1hr tour above) 7:30pm – 8:30pm (can be offered during the day upon request)

Pensacola Beach Guided Glides
Our “It Feels Good to Ride a Segway” Tour, but on Pensacola Beach!!! We will meet you at Tiki Island next to Crabs…We Got Em’ at Casino Beach. We know you want to ride on the sand, but our sand is so soft and wonderful that Segways will not work on the sand. But you will see some great landmarks of Pensacola Beach including the famed “Beach Ball,” the Dome Home and the UFO house. Tour only available March 1st – September 15th.

Land & Sea Package Tours
Emerald Coast Tours and Lanier Sailing Academy have teamed up to offer a whole new way to experience the rich history of Pensacola and Pensacola Bay. This unique, eco-friendly package will have you exploring downtown Pensacola on guided Segway tours. The sea portion of your tour is aboard a 22’ sailboat as your captain/guide takes you on a 2 hour sail of the bay.

Includes a 2 hour ecology/history sail on Pensacola Bay.$45pp
The package is available Tuesday – Friday only. Tour times start a 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Package must be reserved at least 7 days in advance. Upon use of either your land or sea tour you have 8 days to use the remaining tour.. The land or sea portion can be scheduled on the same or different days. You must purchase both tours to receive this discount.
